Why offer Apple Pay
Apple Pay removes typing card details on a phone: Face ID or Touch ID and the payment is done. Mobile conversion goes up, fewer carts are abandoned, and the payment is authenticated by the device, which reduces fraud.
How to accept Apple Pay with UTOPAY
- Payment link: create a link on the payment links page or in the dashboard and send it to the customer. Pin the card method so the buyer goes straight to the card and Apple Pay checkout.
- API: create a payment with
"provider": "stripe"and redirect the buyer tocheckout_url— the Apple Pay button appears on supported devices. - The payment is converted to USDC and sent to your wallet; your webhook receives

Where it works
Apple Pay availability depends on the buyer’s country and device. Through Stripe it is offered to buyers in the United States and the EU; other partners cover more countries. If Apple Pay is not available, the buyer can pay by card, PayPal, Revolut, a local method or crypto.
